[Football] Trio from SXU Football Tabbed as AFCA NAIA All-Americans

Waco, Texas – Sophomore long snapper Nathan Tokar (Naperville, Ill./College of DuPage/Waubonsie Valley), senior linebacker Joey Markasovic (New Lenox, Ill./Providence Catholic) and senior wide receiver Justin Pringle (Romeoville, Ill./Plainfield East) from Saint Xavier University football (9-3, 7-0 MSFA Midwest) were named American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) NAIA All-Americans when the awards were announced Thursday. Tokar was named First Team All-American for Special Teams, Markasovic was a Second Team All-American selection and Pringle earned Honorable Mention honors. The AFCA has put together an All-American Teams for the 77th season, selects teams from all five divisions and are chosen by the head coaches.
