[Men's Indoor Track & Field] Kucera Picks Up Weekly GPAC Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced the first week of men's indoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held December 5-11, 2022. Dylan Kucera of Midland University was named the GPAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week as voted on by the conference's sports information directors.
Kucera, a senior from Fremont, Nebraska, was dominant at the Concordia Early Bird Meet. In the shot put, he bested the field by over two full meters, winning the event with a toss of 17.70m. On a quest for his third-straight national championship, he is the season leader in the NAIA (17.71m) by over a half-meter.
