[Women's Soccer] Hawks Up 1-0 at CalTech When Match Stopped Due to Extreme Heat

PASADENA, Calif. - The San Diego Christian College Hawks women's soccer match at the California Institute of Technology had to be abandoned shortly before the half due to extreme heat on the field. 

At the stoppage, the Hawks were leading the Beavers by a score of 1-0. SDCC's goal came courtesy of freshman midfielder, Ashley Galvan.

The game is considered canceled as it did not meet the mandatory 70-minute threshold. It will not be resumed or made up as of this posting.

The Hawks host the University of Saint Katherine Firebirds on Saturday, September 3 at the Santee Town Center Community Park. Kickoff is set for 6 pm.
