(Crete, Nebraska) — The Hastings College track and field team competed in the Scott Nisely Memorial Track and Field Classic last Saturday, putting up multiple national qualifying marks and a new school record.

In the women's 60m hurdles, Nisa Thomas (SO/Elizabeth City, NC) finished first, hitting an A-Standard National Qualifying Time and setting a new school record with a time of 8.70. Lauren Tamayo (SR/Ralston, NE) finished second with a B-Standard National Qualifying Time of 9.03. They were followed by Payton Hackel (FR/Ord, NE) in fifth, and Zailee Poulson (FR/Castleford, ID) in seventh.
