ALDS Game 2 Instant Reaction: DRaysBay Playoff Podcast Series

Well that wasn’t fun.

We were riding the high of Game 1, which made recording this after Friday night’s contest tough. I was joined by Danny Russell and Ashley MacLennan to try and make sense of the Rays’ 14-6 defeat at the hand of the Red Sox. The bullpen put out an uncharacteristic performance, Shane Baz looked quite nervous, and Jordan Luplow’s epic grand slam was denied a place among some other all-time Rays moments.

While the result was disheartening, we move on to Games 3 and 4 in Fenway Park and debate what it will take for the Rays to advance to the ALCS. Drew Rasmussen will get the ball on Sunday, but after an off day, the entire bullpen should be available.
