Luka Doncic Ruled Out Thursday vs. Pistons

The Mavericks released a length injury report for Thursday’s matchup vs. the Pistons, and they’ve made some updates heading into tip-off. Doncic has been downgraded to out, which is obviously a huge development. Doncic leads the team in points and assists per game, and he also ranks second in rebounds. His absence opens up plenty of opportunities for the rest of the team. Dorian Finney-Smith has also been downgraded to out with a leg injury.

On a more positive note, Kristaps Porzingis, Josh Richardson, and J.J. Redick have all been upgraded to available to play. Porzingis has increased his usage rate by +4.0% with Doncic off the court this season, and he’s averaged 45.35 FanDuel points in two games without Doncic this season. That makes him one of the best plays on the slate at just $7,600.

The Mavericks are currently listed as 7.5-point road favorites vs. the Pistons on FanDuel Sportsbook.
