Shams Charania of The Athletic reports Marcus Smart has been suspended one game due to threatening language toward an official. He is expected to sit out of Wednesday’s matchup with the Charlotte Hornets.

The incident reportedly occurred during Boston’s 117-115 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday. Smart played 38 minutes, scoring 14 points and six assists. Smart has played in 42 games this season, averaging 33 minutes, 14 points, three rebounds, and five assists per game.
Expect Jayson Tatum to see an increase in production with Smart off the floor. In 689 minutes this season with Smart off the floor, Tatum has a 33.6% usage rate and averages 1.21 fantasy points per minute.
