Trae Young Ruled Out Tuesday

0 4

Brad Rowland reports Trae Young will miss Tuesday’s matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and the Toronto Raptors due to a lingering calf injury.

Young will miss his second consecutive game Tuesday because of the injury, last playing in the Hawks’ 120-108 win against the Chicago Bulls on Apr. 9, playing 38 minutes, scoring 42 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. Young has started in 50 games this season, averaging 34 minutes, 25 points, four rebounds, and nine assists per game. He also leads the team in usage with a 32.9% usage rate.

Expect Brandon Goodwin to remain in the starting rotation with Young out. In 35 games this season, Goodwin has averaged 11 minutes, four points, one rebound and two assists per game. Starting for Young in Sunday’s 105-101 win against the Charlotte Hornets, Goodwin played 37 minutes, scoring 17 points, five rebounds and eight assists. He is priced at $3,800 on FanDuel.

The Hawks are a 1-point road underdog against the Toronto Raptors on FanDuel Sportsbook in a game with a 220.5 total.
