Kawhi Leonard Won’t Play Thursday
The Los Angeles Clippers bench is getting shorter. Kawhi Leonard will miss the Clippers’ Thursday night contest against the San Antonio Spurs with right foot soreness. Leonard put up 25 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in 32 minutes of action last night.
With Leonard out, the Clippers could be without four starters when they tip-off against the Spurs. Serge Ibaka is dealing with a back injury, Patrick Beverley is out with knee soreness, and Marcus Morris is a game-time decision with a calf injury. Lou Williams was dealt to the Atlanta Hawks for Rajon Rondo earlier in the day, which means that not only are they down their sixth-man, but they don’t have his replacement available yet either.
It might be a good night to roster Paul George; George has a $14,500 salary on the single-game DFS slate and should get the lion’s share of offensive opportunities.
The Clippers have fallen to -1.5 road chalk with a total set at 220, as per FanDuel Sportsbook.
