LaMarcus Aldridge Set to Return Tonight Against the Thunder
Spurs beat writer Jeff McDonald reports that LaMarcus Aldridge is set to return tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Aldridge hasn’t played in three weeks due to a hip injury, but he’s only missed a total of six games due to the cancellation of multiple Spurs’ games following a potential COVID-19 outbreak. Next up for San Antonio is a trip to Oklahoma City to face a Thunder team with three wins in their last 10 games.
With Aldridge rejoining the team, the Spurs will have just 10 players available as five are still on the league’s covid-19 protocol list.
Since the Spurs announced that Aldridge would indeed suit up today, San Antonio flipped from a one-point underdog to a one-point favorite. Keep in mind that the Spurs are 9-4 in their last three meetings with the Thunder.
San Antonio is also in a nice groove away from home at the moment as they’re 5-1 against the spread in their last six games.
