[Men's Track & Field] Michaels and 4x800 Relay Team earn All-CCAC at Indoor Championships

Davenport, Iowa – Sophomore Conor Michaels (Orland Hills, Ill./Andrew) finished in second place in the Triple Jump and in third place in the Long Jump to earn All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) honors at the CCAC Track & Field Indoor Championships in Davenport, Iowa on Friday. Michaels leapt 13.07 meters on his fifth attempt in the Triple Jump and in the Long Jump, Michaels saved his best for last, jumping 6.71 meters on his sixth and final attempt in the finals. The men's 4x800 relay team of senior Kevin Arias (Oak Lawn, Ill./Oak Lawn Community), senior Oscar Rodriguez (Berwyn, Ill./St. Joseph), sophomore Martin Barrientos (Chicago, Ill./Solorio Academy) and sophomore Donovan Paske (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) also earned All-CCAC Honorable Mention honors, placing third with a time of 8:55.14.
