Biden's election bad news for A's - odd coincidence over last decades

One of the very odd coincidences for the Oakland A's is the fact that they have been much better under Republican Presidents.

Not being polical at all- just noticed an odd coincidence looking at A's history.

All 4 titles and all 6 WS appearances AND all 11 ALCS happened under Republican presidential years.

1969-76 R Nixon and Ford 8 winning seasons of 8. 3 WS, 5 division titles

1977-80 D Carter 1 winning season 3 losing no playoffs

1981-88 R Reagan 2 winning, 1 .500, 5 losing. 1 AL pennant

1989-92 R Bush 4 winning 0 losing. 3 Division titles, 1 WS

1993- 00. D Clinton 2 winning seasons 6 losing. 1 div. Title

2001-08 R Bush 6 winning seasons 2 losing. 3 div titles, one AlCS appearance

2009-2016 D Obama 3 winning seasons 4 losing, 1 .500 2 division titles

2017-20 R Trump 3 winning seasons 1 losing. 1 div title, 2 WC

Weird coincidence. Hope the Biden years break the trend and the A's make it to the WS
