[Tennis] Men's and Women's Tennis Falcons Each Picked Eighth in KCAC Preseason Coaches Polls
WICHITA, Kan. --- The Friends University Men's and Women's Tennis Falcons have each been selected to finish eighth in their respective KCAC Preseason Coaches Poll, the league released today (Jan. 14).
In the men's poll, McPherson College was the top choice with seven first-place votes, with Southwestern College coming in second and receiving a pair of first-place tallies.
Ottawa University was third and got the remaining first-place nod, followed by Bethel College and Tabor College within the top five.
On the women's side, it was Southwestern College on top, but splitting the 10 total first-place votes with second-place McPherson.
Ottawa was also third in the women's poll, while Kansas Wesleyan University and Tabor came in tied for fourth.
The Men's Tennis Falcons are led by sixth-year head coach Alex Lee and the Women's Tennis Falcons are under the guidance of Sandy Schrant, also in her sixth year at the helm.
