[Football] Texas Wesleyan Duo Named NAIA Players of Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA announced Texas Wesleyan's Ty Williams and Adrian Johnson as national offensive and defensive football players of the week in its eighth edition of the award for the 2020-21 season. 

Johnson and Williams led Texas Wesleyan past Arizona Christian 37-34 on Saturday in Glendale, Ariz. The Rams halted a 16-game losing streak in away games, racked up their first win of the season, collected their first win ever over Arizona Christian and sullied previously unbeaten Arizona Christian's first game in its on-campus home facility, ACU Field, on the Firestorm's homecoming.
