[Men's Lacrosse] Lacrosse Stretches Winning Streak to Three

The hot streak for the Williamson lacrosse team continued on Sunday afternoon as they trounced visiting Rutgers Camden by a score of 18-7.  The win was the Mechanics third straight.

Leading the way for Williamson was seniors Zachary Faust (SR/Newtown Square, PA) and James Moorhead (SR/Norwood, PA), who each had seven points on the day.  Faust had five goals and two assists, while Moorhead had five assists to go with two goal.

In addition to outstanding games by those two players, five other Williamson players had two goals each.   Chris Rongwalt, Jacob Long (SR/Broomall, PA), Nick Layden (FR/Folsom, PA), Matt Haines (FR/Ridley, PA), and Nate Lohr (JR/Springfield, PA) each had two goals, while Josh Ciabatoni (FR/Glenolden, PA) added a single goal for Williamson.

Williamson led 3-2 at the end of the first quarter and had an 8-5 lead at half.  They then broke things open in the third quarter, outscoring the Raptors 6-1 I that frame and then 4-1 in the final quarter. 

The win moves Williamson to 3-2 on the year.  They next take on Sussex County College on the road in a 1:00 P.M. start next Sunday, March 15.
