Elgin, Ill. The Holy Cross College women's soccer team returned to CCAC play this afternoon when they traveled to Judson Univeristy. After the first 45 minutes of action, neither team was able to come away with any goals as the match would enter halftime tied 0-0.
Two strong performances from the St. Ambrose Cheer Team earned them runner-up honors at the NAIA's Northeast Qualifier Saturday.
Softball closed out play at the Northeastern State Classic Saturday morning in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In game one, Doane fell to Northeastern State, 9-1. The Tigers faced Missouri Valley in game two, falling to the Vikings, 12-3.
St. Ambrose fought off four match points in the fourth set and ultimately completed the comeback in a 21-25, 23-25, 26-24, 33-31, 15-10 win over Saint Xavier Saturday afternoon.
