LaMarcus Aldridge Questionable for Saturday

0 9

LaMarcus Aldridge is questionable to play in Saturday’s matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans due to a sore wrist.

Aldridge has missed extended time this season due to a hip injury. He returned to the rotation, playing off the bench in Wednesday’s 102-99 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Before Wednesday’s game, Aldridge last played Feb. 1, in a 122-102 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

If Aldridge cannot play, expect Jacob Poeltl to start for the Spurs. Priced at $5,800 on FanDuel, Poeltl has started 10 games this season because of Aldridge’s injuries. When starting this season, Poeltl has averaged 28 minutes, scoring nine points, eight rebounds and one assist per game.

The Spurs are a 2.5-point home underdog against the Pelicans on FanDuel Sportsbook in a game with a 233.5 total.
