Mariners get another crack at Rays’ opener
For the second straight day, the Mariners are playing a Tampa Bay team that is using a reliever as a starter. Speaking of relievers, the M’s bullpen got a bit of a shakeup this morning.
For the third time in four days, a pitcher comes OFF the disabled list.
I get the sense that Emilio Pagan has mostly been forgotten in 2018, and that’s partly for good reason - his full season pitching line leaves much to be desired. Something clearly wasn’t right as Pagan failed to do much of anything well.

I, along with my good friend and SSS minor league expert Darren Jackson, attended the infamous Chris Sale jersey-cutting game.
Mert Hervey is pitching tonight for your Redlegs, opposed by lil ol Luke Weaver. He has acquitted himself fairly well since coming to Cincinnati, posting a 4.44 ERA in his five starts. Considering how shambly the Reds’ pitching has been for the last few years, that’s downright Harangian.
