Des Moines, IA – Grand View football and Head Coach Mike Woodley is proud to announce the hire of former Viking, Adam Dutcher to the coaching staff. He will serve as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator.
Prior to Grand View Dutcher was the run-game coordinator for Ellsworth Community College where he earned two top 25 ranked offenses in the NJCAA including No. 7 in 2015. Dutcher spent the 2018 season as the associate head football coach and assistant athletics director at Iowa Central Community College. In his lone season, Dutcher developed the No. 4 offensive team in the NJCAA along with the No. 13 team overall.
"We are very excited to welcome Adam back to Grand View," says Woodley. "He completes a trio of former players that are now on our full-time staff. He will take great pride in carrying on the tradition of Grand View Football. Adam will bring extensive knowledge of offensive line play and will be a tremendous recruiter."
Dutcher is a native of Altoona, IA. He played football at Grand View in 2009 and 2010. As a team captain for the Vikings, he was a two-time all-conference (MSFA) offensive line selection (2009, 2010).
Prior to GV, Dutcher played at Iowa Central Community College where he earned First Team All-Region Selection Offensive line in 2007. He was also two-time Graphic Edge Bowl Champion in 2006 and 2007.
"I am excited to be back at my alma mater," says Dutcher. "Being able to work alongside two mentors of mine, Coach Mike and Coach Joe had me eager to make the transition. I am proud to be able to continue the tradition I was a part of in the beginning in a new role."
