[Men's Basketball] Murdock Named KansasSports.Net MBB Player of the Week

On the heels of winning his conference-leading fifth KCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Friends University senior Jordan Murdock also received the top weekly honor from KansasSports.Net.

Murdock receives the honor after posting an impressive stat line of 34 points, 11 rebounds and five assists while shooting a solid 11-of-21 from the floor in the final regular season home game (Feb. 7) of his career.  

Already the program's all-time leading scorer, the Wichita native is second in the KCAC and third in the NAIA in scoring (28.1 ppg) this season. Murdock is also fifth in the league in rebounding (8.9 rpg) and second in assists (4.9 apg).

Murdock and the third-seeded Falcons are gearing up to host the sixth-seeded University of Saint Mary Spires Wednesday night (Feb. 20) at 7 pm inside the Garvey Center in the quarterfinal round of the KCAC Tournament.
