WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University junior guard James Conley put together a versatile performance that has earned him both the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, the league announced today (Dec. 10).

Conley came through on both ends of the court in two victories this past week for the Falcons.

The Derby, Kan. native averaged 22.5 ppg, including a career-best 33 points to fuel a 104-85 victory over McPherson College. He also nailed career-high marks in field goals (12) and threes (five) in the win over the Bulldogs.

Defensively, Conley averaged 2.5 steals per game and played a huge role in limiting Cameron Hunt to only 19 points, his second lowest scoring output of the season as the Falcons won 82-76 at No. 14-ranked Southwestern College.

Conley is second on the Falcons in scoring this season (17.1) and has hit a team-best 25 threes.

The Falcons, currently 7-4 overall and 5-3 in the KCAC, host Kansas Wesleyan University Wednesday night (Dec. 12) at 8 pm inside the Garvey Center.
