Will Cincinnati celebrate the centennial anniversary of the 1919 World Series? Doubtful, since it was handed to them. Will the White Sox acknowledge the centennial anniversary of their 1919 "thrown?" Doubtful, for they will ignore the shame of their historical scandal. Most likely MLB will pinch their noses and ignore the elephant in the room.
The Comiskey scandal is long ago forgotten. Charles Comiskey is long ago passed. Comiskey Park is long ago razed. And yet, the organization has an opportunity to shed its shame and begin anew
Why not CELEBRATE the entire season with the team wearing black jerseys with white patches with black embroidery that reads 1919 - 2019 Old and New Tradition.
