MADISON, S.D.—Dakota State (S.D.) (3-7 overall record, 2-4 North Star record) looks to conclude their 2018 regular-season on a high note as they head on the road. The Trojans visit the North Star Athletic Association's conference leader and nationally-ranked No. 16 Dickinson State (N.D.) (7-2 overall record, 5-1 NSAA conference record) on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. (Central Time)/1 p.m. (Mountain Time) at Biesiot Activities Center (398 State Ave.) in Dickinson, N.D.
Dakota State (S.D.) fell short in their home regular-season finale at Trojan Field on Oct. 27. Despite leading 15-3, the Trojans were outscored by the Warriors 28-0 from first through third quarter. WU went on to defeat DSU by the score of 51-37. The Trojans had six different records broken during the game, including a 40-year old school single-season rushing yards record.
Dickinson State (N.D.) clinched at least a share of the Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football regular-season title after a 48-24 road victory at Presentation (S.D.). Deadlocked at 7-7, the Blue Hawks scored 21 straight points for a 28-7 lead and never looked back.
