[Women's Soccer] Hornets Break Eighteen Year Old Record With Win Over Mustangs

CONWAY, AR- For the first time since 2000, the Hornet Women's Soccer Program surpassed 10 wins in a single season. They tied the 1999 team with 11 wins after their convincing 5-0 win over Central Baptist today.

Georgia Herrington (JR/Milton Keynes, England) kicked things off when she found Paula Ulreich (JR/Munich, Germany ) open to make it 1-0n early in the match.

Chloe Bowen (JR/London, England) would add to HSSU's lead in the 38' when she netted her first goal of the season. Torrie Helms (JR/Sikeston, MO), Deja Lundberg (JR/Atlanta, Georgia ), and Izabella Tedesco (FR/Smithton, IL) would all find the back of the net in the second half to give Harris-Stowe their 5-0 win.

Camila Chaves (SO/Medellin, Colombia) got the start in goal today making three saves and adding another shutout to her resume.

Harris-Stowe ends the regular season 11-4-2 overall and 7-4-1 in American Midwest Conference play. They will play in the AMC Tournament starting next Friday at Park University. Kick-off is TBD.
