FREMONT, Neb – No. 18 Midland University hosted Concordia University on Wednesday night, and at the end of two overtime periods the teams found themselves at a 1-1 draw. With the tie, the Warriors move to 11-1-3 overall and 8-0-3 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference while the Bulldogs move to 11-1-5 on the year and 8-0-3 in GPAC play.
In a match that featured three red cards and seven yellow cards, it was hard for both teams to settle into a rhythm with so many stoppages and hard play from both teams. In the first half, both teams felt each other out for the first 45 minutes of the match, going into the halftime break scoreless.
