[Volleyball] Kean Digs Up Career-High In Visit to Bluefield
BLUEFIELD, Va. – The Bryan College women's volleyball was unable to avoid the sweep earlier in the season during their first meeting with fellow Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Bluefield College back at the beginning of September, but the Lions swiped a set from the Rams on Tuesday evening when they paid Bluefield a visit. Bryan fell behind 0-2 as Bluefield took the opening frame 25-16 and outlasted the Lions in a close second set 25-20. Bryan refused the blanking when they rallied for a 25-20 third set win, forcing a fourth. Unfortunately, Bluefield battled back to win the final stanza 25-19 and the match 3-1, dropping the Lions to 10-17 overall and 6-11 in the AAC while improving their overall record to 11-13 and conference record to 8-9.
