[Basketball] 12 Men's and Women's Basketball Falcons Earn KCAC Scholar Athlete Honors
WICHITA, Kan. – 12 members of the Friends University Men's and Women's Basketball squads have earned a spot on the KCAC Scholar Athlete team, the league announced today (July 9).
To qualify for this award, the student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing, letter in their sport and maintain a minimum 3.333 grade-point-average.
The men's basketball group consists of consists of 24 student-athletes from Kansas, 12 seniors, 24 juniors, and nine sophomores, while the women's basketball squad includes 34 student-athletes from Kansas, 32 seniors, 20 juniors, and 17 sophomores.
