Rice-Russell Nashville Chapter meeting (Nashville, TN)

Date:
2018-04-28

SABR's Rice-Russell Nashville Chapter will hold its next meeting from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Donelson Branch of the Nashville Library, 2315 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.

All baseball fans are welcome to attend.

We will have two distinguished authors with us at the meeting: David Rapp, author of Tinker to Evers to Chance: The Chicago Cubs and the Dawn of Modern America, and Gaylon H. White, author of Singles and Smiles: How Artie Wilson Broke Baseball's Color Barrier. Both books have only been released in the past few weeks; this is a unique opportunity for our chapter!

The library is just off Briley Parkway, east of downtown, and easily accessible via I-24, I-40, or I-65.

Anyone who wants to join us for lunch afterward and continue on with us following the meeting at McNamara's Irish Pub & Restaurant, 2740 Old Lebanon Rd., Nashville, Tennessee 37214, only a few blocks away.

Remember: guests are always welcome at SABR events, but please, let me know if you and any guests are coming so I can be sure we have ample room. I hope you will make plans to attend!
