The next SABR Book Club will meet Saturday, November 4 at 9:30 a.m. at the Main Library downtown (Columbus Metropolitan Library, 96 S Grant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215). The chapter will discuss the subject of Babe Ruth. As there are many worthy books on the Babe, the following are recommended by the chapter:
“Babe: The Legend Comes to Life” by Robert Creamer
"The Big Bam: the Life and Times of Babe Ruth" by Montville
"The Babe Ruth Story" by Babe Ruth and Bob Considine
"The Selling of Babe Ruth: The Deal that Changed Baseball and Created a Legend " by Glenn Stout (available in hardback only)
