Men Soccer Defeat Central Christian

Saturday night in McPherson, KS the Friends University Men's Soccer team defeated the Tigers of Central Christian 3-1.

The Falcons held a 2-0 lead at halftime as Lucas Coelho, a junior from Lavras, MG-Brazil and freshman Alastair Barnes of Dumfries, Scotland led the offense.

The second half settled into a defensive battle when Falcon forward Danny Littler, a senior originally from Chester, England found the goal and scored what proved to be the final margin of the game.

Friends University Soccer will travel to Bacone College (OK) on September 3 for a 4:00 p.m. match.
