Amir Garrett vs. Alex Cobb

Cincinnati’s rookie LHP will look to help lead the club to a second-straight win tonight. Last Wednesday in San Diego, Garrett went six innings, gave up seven hits and two earned runs and struck out eight. It was the first time he pitched at least six innings since May 6 against San Francisco.

Cobb went 6 2/3 innings and gave up eight hits, two earned runs and two walks and struck out three last Thursday in Detroit. He has pitched at least five innings in every start this season and has racked up seven quality starts.
