That Home Run Eck Gave Up In The World Series

Every A's fan of a certain age remembers the home run Dennis Eckersley served up to Kirk Gibson in the 1988 World Series, and they also remember the Athletics appearing in the 1989 and 1990 Series, too. For me, though, the worst memory was from 1991. For some reason, people insist that the Twins and Braves were in the Series that year, but I clearly remember Eck facing off against the Cubs' Richard Marx in a classic 1991 World Series at-bat.
