[Softball] Skeese named RSC Player of the Week

    FLORENCE, Ky. - University of Rio Grande outfielder Carly Skeese clubbed five homers in six games last week to claim River States Conference Softball Player of the Week for April 17-23.
    Skeese, a sophomore from Newark, Ohio, had five of her seven hits on the week go over the fence as the RedStorm went 5-1 overall and 3-1 in RSC action. Skeese hit .318 with nine RBIs on the week.
