[Women's Basketball] Fawcett Reaches Milestone in 83-48 Win for SXU over Waldorf

Forest City, Iowa – Senior guard Maia Fawcett (Queens, N.Y./Queens College/Progress) finished with 10 points, five assists, two rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot and became just the 22nd player in Saint Xavier University women's basketball history (6-3, 4-1 CCAC) to score 1,000 or more career points as the Cougars defeated Waldorf University (Iowa) in non-conference action Friday afternoon at the Hanson Fieldhouse in Forest City, Iowa. Fawcett has 1,001 points for SXU and now has 1,098 points in her collegiate career after playing at Queens College (N.Y.) as a freshman in 2018-19.
