MIDWAY, Ky. - The University of Rio Grande exploded for a season-high 14 goals, including nine in the first half, en route to a 14-0 throttling of Midway University, Saturday afternoon, in River States Conference men's soccer action at Midway Soccer Field.
The RedStorm, ranked No. 25 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, upped their record to a 6-3-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play with the victory.
Midway dropped to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in the RSC with the loss.
