[Men's Cross Country] Morrey Leads SXU Men's Cross Country at Twilight Invite

Channahon, Ill. – Freshman Ben Morrey (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) was the top finisher for the Saint Xavier University men's cross country team at the St. Francis (Ill.) Twilight Invitational Friday evening at the Channahon Community Park in Channahon, Ill. Morrey, making his collegiate debut, posted a time of 17:15.6 in the 5K event and was 34th overall out of 94 runners. As a team, the Cougars placed 7th out of nine teams. University of Chicago (Ill.) won the team portion of the race, while Jordan Freese from University of St. Francis (Ill.) was the top individual with a time of 15:25.5.
