Sterling Heights, Mich. – The Saint Xavier University women's bowling team is in 8th place out of 12 teams after Day One of the NAIA Women's Bowling National Championship Tournament at Five Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Mich. The Cougars bowled in 24 Baker Games and totaled 4,620 pins, 233 pins behind 1st place SCAD Savannah (Ga.). SXU will take on No. 9 Spring Arbor University (Mich.) in the first round of match play (best of five) on Friday, March 26 at 7:30 am central with the winner taking on SCAD in the double-elimination tournament.
