Chicago, Ill. - #23 Saint Xavier women's basketball (12-5, 10-1 CCAC) needed a full team effort on Saturday afternoon to collect a 71-66 victory over St. Francis (Ill.) (13-6, 10-2 CCAC). With the Cougars leading by only three with under 30 seconds to play, Claire Austin (SR/Chicago, Ill.) stepped up with great defense to keep Saint Xavier in front and hang on for the win.
