[Men's Bowling] SXU Men's Bowling Competes at Leatherneck Classic

Moline, Ill. – Senior Alex Acosta (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) placed 27th out of 385 bowlers, knocking down 1,278 pins for an average of 213 over six games, at the 21st Annual Leatherneck Classic at Highland Park Bowl in Moline, Ill. this weekend. The Saint Xavier University men's bowling team placed 12th out of 42 teams and totaled 9,236 pins after finishing in 17th place on Saturday. On Sunday, SXU competed in the Baker Games and tallied 3,300 pins, but did not qualify for the tournament quarterfinals.
