Rockford, Ill. – Senior Alex Acosta (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) rolled the first 300 game in program history and the Saint Xavier University men's bowling team finished 1st out of 22 teams at the Golden Eagle Invite at Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Ill. The Cougars knocked down 9,628 pins, over 300 more than the second-place finisher, in the two-day tournament. Saint Xavier had the top seed entering the Baker Games, but lost 2-0 (196-189, 207-190) to No. 8 Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Quarterfinals on Sunday.
