INF Freddy Galvis returns to Phillies via trade with Orioles

Baltimore Orioles infielder Freddy Galvis, who spent the first six seasons of his career with Philadelphia, returned to the Phillies on Friday in a deal before the Major League Baseball trade deadline.

Philadelphia received Galvis and cash considerations from Baltimore in exchange for right-handed pitching prospect Tyler Burch.

Galvis, who is currently on the 10-day injured list with a right quad strain, was batting .24
