[Softball] Saint Xavier falls in Columbia (Ky.) Bracket Championship

Columbia, Ky. – No. 2 seed Saint Xavier University softball (36-4, 18-2 CCAC) won the first game ofthe Columbia (Ky.) Bracket Championship with a thrilling walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 8th by senior infielder Tori Keilman (Highland, Ind./St. Joseph's/Bishop Noll Institute) to give the Cougars a 5-4 victory over No. 3 Madonna University (Mich.) in the NAIA Opening Round to force the if-necessary game Wednesday afternoon at Sparks Park in Columbia, Ky. However SXU could not carry the momentum into the second game, losing 4-2 and having their 2021 season come to an end.
