[NAIA] Schlaud's effort in the Circle leads Madonna past St. Xaxier

COLUMBIA, Ky. - Two runs in the top half of the fourth inning proved to be enough for No. 3 Madonna (Mich.) as the Crusaders held off No. 2 Saint Xavier (Ill.) down the stretch to claim a 2-1 victory.

With the win, Madonna advances in the winners bracket to face No. 1 Lindsey Wilson at 12:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday at Sparks Park. The Cougars will face No. 4 Brenau (Ga.) in the first of two elimination games slated for the second day of action in Columbia.
