[Baseball] SXU drops series finale to St. Francis, 8-5

Joliet, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University baseball team (26-20, 15-10 CCAC) lost to University of St. Francis (Ill.) Sunday afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest at Route 66 Stadium in Joliet, Ill. in game three of the three-game series. Freshman designated hitter Tyler Hedman (Roselle, Ill./Conant) continued his hot hitting, finishing 3-for-4 with two RBI's, a double and a run scored. Despite the loss, SXU moves past the Fighting Saints in the CCAC standings, into fourth, by taking the first two games of the series yesterday.
