[Men's Soccer] Avalos' Hat Trick leads to 3-2 OT win for SXU over Cardinal Stritch
CHICAGO – Junior forward Ricardo Avalos (Calumet Park, Ill./South Suburban/Bremen) scored the game-winning goal in the 96th minute of overtime, his third of the game, to give Saint Xavier University men's soccer (5-0, 5-0 CCAC) a thrilling 3-2 victory over Cardinal Stritch University (Ill.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Tuesday afternoon at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field in Chicago. It's the first hat trick for the Cougars since Kamil Szczesniak netted three goals at Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) on October 28, 2015.
