As a whole, the Shawnee State men's soccer program arguably has as much upside as it's ever had in its history.
With a standout frontline that already consisted of Kevin de Lange, Joao Toledo, and Thomas de Graauw, along with strong midfielders in Mitchell Patchett, Bruno Rovares and Nathan Ewing and a deep backline that consists of players such as Sjoerd Reefman, Thierry van den Bergh, and Carlos Solmolinos Bravo, the program was already in a good way, as evidenced in the Bears' wins over Ohio Christian and Midway where they outscored both opponents by a combined 13-0 margin
