[Women's Basketball] Midland Picks Up Important GPAC Win Over Chargers

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University's women's basketball team was able to pull out a win against the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) standings leader, Briar Cliff University, with a final score of 63-54 on Saturday afternoon.
Out of the gates, the Chargers went on a fast 8-0 run. Midland answered though, hitting shots of their own, narrowing BCU's quick advantage. At the end of the first quarter, the Chargers held a 15-12 lead.
