[Women's Basketball] Lions Upset #9 Columbia by 35 Points in Tennessee

JACKSON, Tenn. – The #10 ranked Lions (2-1) hit the hardwood after a long layoff, playing their opening contest of the Jackson Rotary Classic against ninth ranked Columbia College (6-1). Vanguard earned a decisive victory 94-59 over the Cougars as these two squads faced off in Tennessee for the third time in the past four years, with VU winning the last two.
