PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Sixth-seeded Georgetown defeated third-seeded Pikeville 75-63 Friday in the MSC Women's Basketball Quarterfinals at the East Kentucky Expo Center.
Georgetown (21-9) had four players in double figures led by Hailey Ison who scored a game-high 18 points. Madison Darnell had 16 points and 11 rebounds while Olivia Bowling and Alexis Stapleton added 12 and 10 respectively. As a team the Tigers shot 45.2 percent from the field and were 93.3 percent from the charity stripe.
