[Women's Lacrosse] Injuries, fouls hurt No. 4 Tigers against No. 5 TWU
Laura Cuseo took a pass from Alyssa Case late in the first half Friday, giving Georgetown College lacrosse its lone lead against Tennessee Wesleyan University. The No. 4 Tigers (3-2, 2-1 AAC) struggled to find an offensive rhythm without two key pieces in the final 30 minutes, falling 12-8 to the No. 5 Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0).
Olivia Archer went down with an injury in the first half and Avery Blackmon left early in the second half. The pair has accounted for 32 goals and 16 assists through five games.
